Welcome -
Adipose Fly Fishing offers first-class guided fly fishing for steelhead on northern California’s Trinity River.
Its headwaters in the rugged Trinity Alps, the Trinity River becomes the largest tributary of the Klamath River system and is home to an amazing run of steelhead. As the leaves change color and the nip of fall is in the air, these majestic fish ramble their way up the Trinity in search of their natal spawning grounds. The first steelhead can venture up the river as early as August with fresh fish coming into the system through January.
The gin clear waters of the Trinity with the backdrop of the redwood curtain are a most serene setting when pursuing these magnificent anadromous giants. Whether you want to spend the day swinging your favorite spey pattern or nymph the trenches and boulder pockets, the Trinity River will answer anyone’s call for an unforgettable fishing adventure.
Tight Lines,
